Did you know that Creo now uses absolute accuracy by default?

Starting with Creo 7.0, Creo Parametric uses absolute accuracy instead of relative accuracy. The default accuracy values are 0.00039 inches and .01 millimeters.

The template files are also adjusted so that new empty models are created by default with absolute accuracy.

Template files use the following naming schemes:

  1. Absolute accuracy uses the new template files by default. The files use the suffix _abs.
  2. Relative accuracy uses the existing template files. The files are renamed with the suffix _rel

Note

1.Configuration options enable_absolute_accuracy and enable_assembly_accuracy are no longer available

2. For multibody model design, use of absolute accuracy is strongly recommended.
