The new Recursive References option in Creo 8, allows users to recursively list potentially impacted references in the Replace References dialog box. Note, this option is only available when you replace quilt references.
When this option is selected, the system identifies the direct child features for reference handling, and also identifies the entities created by these child features that themselves are being used as references. This is done recursively, populating the dialog box with all the entities that might also be affected and require a replacement.
When you select the new Dynamic Preview option, the system automatically triggers regeneration (essentially the Preview and Roll To actions) of the subsequent features when a reference is replaced.
Limitation :
The Recursive References option is only available when you replace quilt references.
